Northampton is buzzing with excitement as Wavey Creations Events, founded by the dynamic duo Christine McMillan and Rochelle Patel, brings a splash of creativity to our town. Launched last autumn, these bi-monthly sip and paint events have quickly become the talk of the town, offering a delightful blend of art, socialising, and fun.
Inspired by the popularity of similar events in larger cities like London and Birmingham, Christine and Rochelle set out to create something special for Northampton. Their journey began on a holiday, where the idea was born, and upon returning, they wasted no time in finding the perfect venues to bring their vision to life.
Wavey Creations Events offers two distinct experiences: sip and paint parties and sip and paint evenings. The party events are a lively affair, featuring cocktails, dancing, a DJ, and games, with the option to continue the fun at the venue after the painting session. On the other hand, the evening events focus on a more relaxed atmosphere, with antipasti food and a chance to unwind while painting.
The events have already graced venues like Jimmy’s Sports Bar and Genevieve’s Cafe, and the duo is eager to collaborate with more local spots as their popularity grows. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with attendees praising the unique experience and the professional yet friendly approach of Christine and Rochelle.
