Northampton’s Collingtree Park Celebrates CQC Success
There’s a wave of joy sweeping through Northampton as Collingtree Park Care Home celebrates its recent ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This achievement is a testament to the home’s dedication to providing safe, effective, and responsive care to its residents.
The CQC’s report, published in July, lauded the home for its person-centred approach to care. The residents, it noted, were supported by a team of kind and caring staff, enabling them to live as independently as possible. The home’s management and staff were commended for their commitment to ensuring residents live life to the fullest.
The report also highlighted the home’s focus on promoting residents’ hobbies and interests, offering a range of activities to keep them engaged and active. This approach is a testament to the home’s commitment to a whole home approach, ensuring every resident’s needs are met.
The celebration of this achievement was a joyous affair, with staff gathering in the home’s beautiful gardens for a party, complete with free pizza courtesy of Tops Pizza Northampton. The staff’s positive attitude towards their work was evident, with one staff member noting the team’s flexible approach and mutual support.
The residents and their relatives were equally pleased with the home’s services. Comments ranged from appreciation of the home’s respect for residents’ independence to the quality of food and the excellent communication from staff.
Rosalyn James, General Manager at Collingtree Park Care Home, expressed her delight at the rating, praising the hard work and dedication of the team. “We have a wonderful team here and I am incredibly proud of each and every one of them,” she said.
