New Retail Gem in Billing Garden Village
Billing Garden Village in Northampton has a new retail gem, thanks to the dynamic duo, Nikki and Paul Cooper. Known for their successful ventures, The Sycamore Cafe and The Little Mod Stop, the couple has now expanded their business with Patches Retail. This charming store, nestled at the back of the cafe, offers a delightful selection of ladies’ clothing, homeware, gifts, toys, and accessories.
The journey began in October 2022 when Nikki and Paul opened The Sycamore Cafe. Their passion for the mod scene led to the creation of The Little Mod Stop, a unique men’s clothing store catering to the biker community. The couple’s latest venture, Patches Retail, was inspired by the need for more retail options following the closure of Billing Garden Centre last November.
Patches Retail has quickly become a favourite among locals, offering a “little bit of everything” for everyone. The store’s location, accessible through the cafe, creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely day out, exploring the diverse offerings of Patches Retail and The Little Mod Stop, before unwinding with a drink at the cafe.
Open seven days a week, Patches Retail has already received positive feedback from the community. Nikki and Paul are thrilled to see repeat customers and are committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
