New Café Owner Brings Fresh Dreams Alive
In the heart of Northampton, a delightful transformation is brewing at Dreams Coffee Lounge on St Giles Street. This charming café, now under the ownership of 29-year-old Mariola Fuller, is a testament to dreams coming true. Mariola, a mum-of-two and a talented home baker, has taken the reins of this ‘little gem’ and is infusing it with her passion and creativity.
Mariola’s journey began when she spotted the café for sale in the Chronicle & Echo. Captivated by the opportunity, she and her husband Rob, who runs a recruitment business next door, decided to make the leap. “I love baking. This is, for me, a dream come true,” Mariola shares, her excitement palpable.
Just two days into her new venture, Mariola experienced a heartwarming moment—selling her first homemade cake. “I didn’t believe I could do it. So that was amazing,” she recalls, tears of joy in her eyes.
While renovation work is still underway, including a vibrant new mural, the café is already welcoming customers with open arms. Freshly baked cakes and aromatic coffee are served daily, and the updated menu promises even more delights come July.
Mariola describes St Giles Street as ‘the best street in town,’ and the community has been wonderfully supportive. The café, previously owned by Lisa Neophitou for eight years, has retained its staff and is set to expand its hours to seven days a week.
For those seeking a cosy spot with a friendly atmosphere, Dreams Coffee Lounge is a must-visit. As one reviewer aptly put it, “Really friendly atmosphere under the new ownership. Thanks for a lovely start to our day!”
At James Anthony, we celebrate local success stories like Mariola’s. Her journey is a reminder that with passion and perseverance, dreams truly can come alive.
