Feather Robins Gifts, the charming gift shop that has captured the hearts of many, is spreading its wings once more! After a rollercoaster year, owner Lindsey Scott-Walker is thrilled to announce the opening of a new store in Sheaf Street, Daventry. This delightful expansion comes after the bittersweet closure of their original St Crispin Retail Village location earlier this year due to rising costs and dwindling footfall.

Lindsey, who first opened Feather Robins in September 2022, has always been passionate about creating a one-stop-shop for all gifting needs. Her journey took an unexpected turn when she found the perfect premises in Kent Road, falling in love with the space and its potential. Fast forward to May 2024, and Lindsey celebrated her first anniversary at the Weston Favell Shopping Centre location, a testament to her resilience and determination.

The new Daventry store, housed in a Grade Two listed building, promises to offer the same beloved brands and layout as its Weston Favell counterpart, while embracing the historic charm of Sheaf Street. Lindsey is particularly excited about the vibrant community of independent retailers that surround her new shop, and she looks forward to welcoming both loyal Northampton customers and new Daventry regulars.

As Lindsey prepares for the grand opening, she emphasises the importance of supporting local businesses. “It’s crucial to support local. If we buy everything online, we won’t have high streets at all and we need to keep them alive,” she passionately states.
